Experience Queens Day or Koninginnedag, on April 30th. Actually not the birthday of Queen Beatrix, which is January 31st, but of her Mother, Princes Juliana. Queens Day is one of the gay-events of the year you would not want to miss, as is the Canal Pride in August every year. During this Pride all the canals are full of colorfully boats turning the city into �Rio� for one day.
